I may be a Graphic Designer "on paper" but in my free time I enjoy creating a wide variety of art.
Below you will see a small selection of the different things I create and some of the things I enjoy making/doing. |
Traditional Illustrations
These are a couple of traditional medical illustrations that I have done and they show the close attention to detail that I pay to
in my work. It also shows that I have the ability to do both digital illustrations as well as traditional ones with graphite.

Acrylic paintings with reclaimed buttons
This is just a VERY small selection of some of the acrylic paintings on canvas that I have done. Please visit the painting page
on An Eco Sam Design's website to few a larger selection.

Photography
Photography is something that I do as a hobby. I have taken a few photography classes and enjoy doing it
on the side. It is a great thing to have experience in because it allows me to be able to take my own pictures
for design projects as well as have the knowledge of editing photos.

Fabric/Felt
In my free time I also enjoy sewing and creating things with felt and fabric. I enjoy making Worry Monsters which are for if you
are sad, scared, miss someone you love, or just need something to hold. They are plush Monsters and each one is unique and
different. Worry Monsters have their own website where you can learn more about them. I also enjoy creating little things such
as tooth fairy pillows which also incorporate reclaimed buttons for eyes since they are intended for older children.

Mixed Media
Sometimes I combine multiple interests including paintings, sewing, and reclaimed buttons into one project.
